Whitney Bates Shares Sweet Story About Bradley & Late Grandpa

Whitney Bates loses her father.
As TV Shows Ace reported late last year, Whitney’s biological dad, J.C. Perkins, was in the ICU in septic shock. Zach and Whitney took to social media to request prayers for his recovery. Unfortunately, he passed away less than a month before Christmas. This was a very hard loss for Whitney and she has been open with her social media followers as she has grieved.

Holidays and birthdays have been especially difficult for Whitney Bates since she lost her father. And it sounds like her four young kids, Bradley, 7, Kaci, 6, Khloé, 2, and Jadon, 1, are also making an effort to remember their grandpa.
Bradley Bates remembers his late grandpa in a special way.
On her Instagram Stories on Thursday evening, Whitney revealed to fans that her family attended a high school football game. As they made memories together, Bradley did something sweet as he thought of his late grandfather.
Whitney Bates posted a photo of Bradley in the bleachers with one of his friends. As Bradley posed in a blue tee shirt with a blue camouflage zip-up sweatshirt, she shared all about his precious gesture.
Whitney wrote:
“My dad bought Brad this jacket last year, and he’s wore it everywhere he’s went all week. He says Papaw might see him wear it from Heaven if he does.”
Along with sharing this special moment, Whitney added a crying emoji and a heart emoji to capture her feelings. You can see the post below.
Whitney Bates also posted a selfie featuring herself, Bradley, Zach, and Kaci. It looks like they enjoyed themselves, while sweet seven-year-old Bradley kept his late grandfather in his thoughts.
