Celebrating Easter 2022 Leaves Whitney Bates With Heavy Heart
Easter 2022 looks a bit different for Whitney Bates than 2021 did. Unfortunately, the Bringing Up Bates star is spending the holiday with a heavy heart as she reflects on the past year.
Sadly, Whitney’s family is missing someone very important from their Easter festivities this year. A tragic loss has left a special family member out from recent holidays. Less than six months ago, Whitney lost her dad.
In November 2021, Whitney Bates’ father, JC, was in septic shock in the intensive care unit. At the time, Whitney and Zach begged their social media followers to pray for her dad.
Sadly, her father passed away. In a social media post about his passing, Whitney wrote, “We’ve never hurt like this before, but I know that God is with us and that my Dad is healed.”
This loss seems to have hit her very hard. And as each holiday passes, she reflects on this heartbreaking loss.
Whitney Bates celebrates Easter 2022 with a heavy heart.
On her Instagram stories on Saturday, April 17, Whitney shared a few snaps of her family at the cemetery visiting her father’s gravesite. She snapped pictures of her four kids, Bradley, Kaci, Khloé, and Jadon together with the blue sky in the background.
She wrote, “Took the kids to see Papaw’s grave today. Our first Easter without my sweet daddy is going to be hard. It was his favorite day of the year, and it’s heartbreaking to be going into tomorrow without him.”
Whitney Bates shared an individual photo of her son, Jadon Carl, who shares the same initials as her father, JC. She wrote, “Jadon (little JC) is named after my dad and it couldn’t fit this little guy better. Dad would be so proud to see his big smile.”
In another snap, she had a more positive thought to share with fans. She shared a picture of his gravesite and wrote, “I can’t imagine the Easter celebration you’re having in heaven in the presence of our risen savior!”
Hopefully, Whitney Bates and her family can enjoy their Easter festivities, while celebrating her father, JC.
