‘The View’ Alyssa Farah Griffin Calls Sunny Hostin Commanding?

The View host Alyssa Farah Griffin says her co-host Sunny Hostin is commanding. This comes amid the many arguments the two had on the set of the morning show. Viewers can sense the tension between the two ladies — especially during the heated political debates.

Some have to wonder if Sunny really likes Alyssa or if she’s faking it for ratings. In a  new interview, the former White House press secretary shared her thoughts on her new role. She addressed some of the things she liked about Sunny. However, some may see it as a backhanded compliment.

In an interview with USA Today, Alyssa Farah Griffin talked about her first day on the show. She admitted that she felt nervous. Alyssa picked up her job by following her fellow co-hosts. She also admitted that it’s hard to get in what she’s trying to say edgewise when there are “five women at a table.”

“So, I’m taking cues from the other women,” Alyssa Farah Griffin explained to USA Today. “Sunny Hostin’s extremely assertive, and it’s something she has a real talent for, and I see how she commands a table and commands the audience.”

Some viewers may think Alyssa is throwing shade at her colleague. There’s no doubt that Sunny Hostin has been trying to command the conversation on the view. Over the past few weeks alone, the ladies have heavily debated on topics.

Despite feeling nervous on her first day, Alyssa admitted that she’s “getting a lot more comfortable” with her job. The two have been through their share of heated exchanges since she became a permanent co-host. Last week, Sunny accused Alyssa of being “complicit” in Donald Trump’s presidency since she used to work for him.

Sunny has gotten a lot of backlash for her comments. Some fans are sick of the shady comments. They wonder if Sunny is doing it for attention or ratings. Others wish she would lay off Alyssa.

Also, in that same interview, Alyssa Farah Griffin revealed the advice she received from Whoopi Goldberg. The comedian loves to joke with her behind the scenes. Whoopi told her not to pay attention to the comments on social media. She informed Alyssa that it was important to block out the haters.

“She jokes with me, reminding me, ‘Don’t read the comments. Turn it off. Don’t listen to the haters,'” Alyssa Farah Griffin explained. “And it’s really meant a lot to me. I hear Whoopi in my head when I start doom scrolling and I’m like, ‘Why am I doing this?’ I don’t need those people’s opinions.”

She admits that the media scrutiny has gotten out of control. Alyssa accused them of trying to “pit the hosts against each other.” While she knows they have “very heated debates on the stage,” they “go back to connecting on a human level.” She denied the feud rumors with her co-host and feels that this world can learn a lot from them.
