According to The Futon Critic, Cari Farver (Amzallag) and Dave Kroupa (Gilford) are newly dating. However, Dave gets creeped out when Cari starts to send him demanding texts. Therefore, he swiftly breaks up with her.
Cari disappears, but she is still texting and stalking him. In addition, Dave’s ex-girlfriend, Liz (Witt) also gets nasty messages. Cari seems to know wherever he is, and when he sees Liz. This is very creepy.
Meanwhile, Cari’s mom, Nancy (Thompson) keeps going to the police to find her daughter. Eventually, the police pay attention, and what they find out shocks them to the core.
