Brandon Armstrong Reveals Embarrassing Wardrobe Malfunction
Brandon Armstrong hasn’t won a Mirrorball Trophy yet, but his fans are hoping that this is his year. For Season 31, he’s partnered with singer Jordin Sparks. Jordin stomped the competition on American Idol, but can she do the same on Dancing With The Stars?
Brandon is going to do everything in his power to help Jordin win. But hopefully, the pair doesn’t suffer another behind-the-scenes blunder like they did this week.
Dancer Brandon Armstrong’s costume ripped during the Rumba
Brandon Armstrong is one of the younger pro dancers, but he has a lot to offer. Fans really appreciate his presence in the ballroom and hope he earns his first Mirrorball Trophy very soon.
But Brandon and Jordin want to make that happen, they’ll need to step up their game next week. And hopefully, no one’s costume rips in the process.
Audience members probably didn’t notice, but the DWTS pro split his pants in the middle of their routine.
“We got ripa-ge in the pants,” Brandon told ET after James Bond Night concluded. “When you got a lot of cheek. And I gotta be fully transparent, this is a second pair I blew out today.”
According to the 28-year-old dancer, it was the squats in their routine that did it. Anyone who knows Brandon knows that he fully commits. His tuxedo pants just couldn’t handle their Rumba. Thankfully, Jordin Sparks didn’t even realize that the rip happened.
Ultimately, the pair brought home a 29 out of 40 points. Bruno Tonioli gave the pair an 8 while the other three judges gave them a 7. If the judges noticed the wardrobe malfunction, they didn’t have anything to say about it.
It definitely wasn’t the highest score of the night, but the pair is pleased with their progress.
“In my opinion, not everybody’s eight is equal,” Brandon told ET. “Not everybody’s seven is equal, six equal, five is equal. We’re all in our own little journeys here.”
What does the couple have planned for week four?
Week four will feature one of the most anticipated episodes of the season — Disney+ Night. During week four, the remaining 13 couples will perform to popular Disney songs.
But what do Brandon and Jordin have up their sleeves?
The official setlist reveals that Jordin and Brandon will perform a Jazz routine to “Remember Me” from Coco. Avid DWTS viewers may remember that Val Chmerkovskiy and Olivia Jade also chose that song during Season 30.
Fans interested in catching Disney+ Night can tune into Disney+ starting at 8 PM eastern time this Monday night. See who stays and who goes home! You won’t want to miss this fun episode. Remember to vote for your favorite couples and follow TV Shows Ace online for more stories.
