According to the court documents obtained via People, she will no longer support her former husband financially. Last week, Katie and Schwartz agreed to waive the spousal support claims and to confirm their split as “uncontested.”

Their divorce isn’t finalized until a judge signs the paperwork. The Sun also obtained court documents filed on Wednesday, September 14. Katie Maloney requested for the court to “terminate forever spousal or partner support.” She also requested the court to keep their financial information private.

On Monday, September 19, Katie Maloney returned to court in regards to the “uncontested dissolution of their marriage.” The reason why she reportedly filed for divorce is that she felt Schwartz didn’t do his part. She confirmed on her podcast You’re Gonna Love Me that the divorce was her decision. It took her months to realize that she wanted out of their marriage.

“It was my decision, which was probably the hardest and most painful decision I’ve ever had to make,” Katie Maloney said in March. “I love Tom, and we’ve built a life together, and he was my person, but ultimately, I just wasn’t happy.”

Still friends with Tom Schwartz?

The former Vanderpump Rules couple promised to remain friends. However, that may be difficult as they both enter the dating pool. Schwartz’s alleged tryst with Raquel has caused drama between him and Katie Maloney. In another episode of her podcast in August, he confirmed that they’re “still hanging out” while giving “each other space” and “boundaries.”
