Lala Kent won’t share her motherhood journey on VPR Season 10
On Thursday, September 15, Lala Kent shared with fans why she won’t share her motherhood journey on Season 10 of Pump Rules. She took part in a Q&A with fans on her Instagram Story. One person wanted to know if Ocean will make an appearance in the new season. Lala admitted that she will “protect Ocean by all means necessary.”
While she still shares photos of Ocean on social media, she refuses to have her on the show. At least that’s the story that the reality star gave at the time. She answered the fan’s question with a snapshot of Ocean. She also explained why fans won’t be seeing her motherhood journey in Season 10.
“Y’all won’t be seeing Ocean this season and you won’t be seeing me as a mom,” Lala Kent explained. “I’m okay with that. This part of my life I want to hold close to my heart, free of outsiders, and protect Ocean by all means necessary. My sweet angel baby.”
Instead, fans can expect to see her new single lifestyle. Unfortunately, fans won’t get to witness Lala’s struggles as a single mom. Yet, there could be moments when she talks about it in passing. She’ll focus on navigating the dating scene with her fellow single co-stars Katie Maloney and Raquel Leviss.
Was this Randall Emmett’s decision?
In her Instagram post, Lala Kent made it seem like it was her decision. However, fans on the Vanderpump Rules subreddit speculated whether it was Randall who called the shots. The producer’s rep confirmed to Reality Blurb that he no longer wants Ocean on the show. He took action to prevent it from happening.
“Randall felt being a storyline on a reality show was not in the best interest of his child and continues to put her wellbeing and privacy first and foremost,” his rep said in a statement to Reality Blurb.
