Sweet Home Sextuplets star Courtney Waldrop threw in the towel after her dog, Otis, got away. She documented the whole event for fans to see on social media this weekend. So, what happened with the family’s big white fluffy dog?

Though Courtney’s social media posts are primarily about her nine kids, she sometimes shares photos and videos of their dog. Their chickens have also made appearances. It looks like Otis is a Great Pyrenees.

In a recent Instagram Reel, Courtney Waldrop told fans that the dog sometimes hides under the table to get away from the wild sextuplets, Blu, Tag, Layke, Rayne, Rivers, and Rawlings. Of course, the kids can still get to him, but maybe it makes him feel safer anyway.

Now, Courtney is sharing with fans about Otis once again. This time, it looks like he got away from her.

Courtney Waldrop shares an update as Otis gets away

On her Instagram Stories this weekend, Courtney Waldrop gave fans a peek into her family’s plans. In one post, she revealed that the family was all attempting to work together to groom Otis. He has long white fur, so he needs to be bathed and brushed sometimes.

The whole family was outside with Otis as Eric brushed him. Courtney said that Otis does like being brushed.

The kids stood around and watched as they prepared to give him a bath. Courtney wrote, “Trying to give Otis a bath is not easy!! He does not like water!!”

Then, she revealed, “So needless to say he escaped!!”

Below, you can see a snap of the kids helping out.

In another snap, Courtney Waldrop showed fans that the kids were playing outside after their pup protested his bath. Fortunately, Otis didn’t actually get lost. In the photo below, you can see Otis laying down on the deck. In her post, Courtney wrote, “So we gave up on washing Otis!!”

Maybe the Waldrop family will attempt to bathe Otis again in the future. It sounds like he really wasn’t interested this weekend and he was able to get himself out of a bath. Hopefully, the Waldrops will be able to come up with some tricks to make sure the pup gets his bath.
