James Kennedy supposedly doesn’t trust Tom Schwartz. In a recent interview on Scheana Shay’s Scheananigans podcast, he admitted that James “definitely” believed the rumors that he hooked up with his ex-fiance Raquel Leviss. The rumor mill has been talking for months.

This interview aired before the latest rumors that Schwartz and Raquel allegedly hooked up at Scheana’s wedding. Schwartz addressed the rumors that took place in April. There was a blind item that claimed the two made out at Coachella. Schwartz confirmed that he “wasn’t at Coachella.”

During the interview, Tom Schwartz shared his thoughts on Raquel Leviss. Scheana brought up the time when the model teased that she hasn’t “made out with Schwartz… Yet.” His ears perked up and he seemed interested in what he heard. He admitted that he “wrote [her] off” when he was married to Katie.

Schwartz didn’t give James Kennedy’s ex-fiance a second thought. He just thought she was a vapid model. The Tom Tom manager didn’t realize how full of depth she was. He shared a lot of praise for Raquel in the interview.

Before the hookup rumors, both Schwartz and Raquel were in long-term relationships with other people. In March 2022, Katie filed for divorce after three years of marriage and 12 years together. Raquel and James Kennedy ended their engagement while filming Vanderpump Rules Season 9 reunion in December 2021.

Raquel has been the center of dating rumors since. She admitted that she was “nervous” about filming the 10th season with her ex, who’s known for his turbulent behavior. He’s now dating Ally Lewber. The two haven’t spoken since their breakup.

James Kennedy and Raquel tried to remain friends. That quickly fell apart when he didn’t like her shady Instagram post about their breakup. Schwartz and Katie have since remained friends. However, that could change if the hookup rumors are true.

During his conversation with Scheana, Schwartz shared that James Kennedy “definitely did” think something happened between his ex and his friend. They had to have several conversations to assure him that nothing was going on between them.

“We’ve had like five heart-to-hearts over this,” Schwartz told Scheana. “It took, like, three conversations for him to believe me, I think.”

Scheana asked Schwartz if he wanted to “make the rumors true.” He said he wasn’t sure. It seemed like he was interested in Raquel during the interview. However, he wasn’t sure what to say. Schwartz is in a tough spot since he could end up betraying his friend and his estranged wife.
