Good Morning America fans are looking for answers. Every morning they turned on their television and expect George Stephanopoulos to be on the show. This is the second week that he hasn’t been at the table with his fellow co-hosts.

Amy Robach, Cecilia Vega, and Whit Johnson were the faces of GMA during Friday’s broadcast. Viewers took to Twitter to demand answers. They want to know where George Stephanopoulos has been hiding lately. Fans assumed that he would be back at work since he’s back in New York City.

“Ugh Georgey Porgey where is he? Did he get fired or quit? It’s going into the third week now of him missing.”

“Where’s George?” one user wrote.

“It’s not normal for hosts to be gone this long it’s been like 2 weeks now! Is he quitting and going to another show?!” another added.

Is George Stephanopoulos retired?

While he’s been away from Good Morning America, Ali posted a photo of the two on vacation together. She embraced him as he wrapped his arm around her. It was the first time that she mentioned anything about George’s absence. In her Instagram post, she wrote, “Greece with my Greek.”

Some fans noted that George Stephanopoulos looked retired in the photo. They have a feeling that he’s quietly exiting from his position. If that were the case, the show would prepare a retirement party — especially with his long-lasting career on the show. GMA would likely make an announcement and encourage fans to join them in on the fun.
