She looked directly into the camera and said, “Kelly, we miss you. We got you a Consuelos one.” Ryan joined in on the fun. He revealed the reason why Kelly has been missing from the show. The American Idol cracked a joke about Kelly’s comment that she would leave the show if she won the jackpot.

Her book is set to release on September 27. From there, Kelly Ripa will start her tour in Red Bank, NJ, New York City, and Long Island, New York after its release. Because of this career change, fans wonder if she will tour her daytime show. Kelly Ripa hasn’t confirmed the rumors, but it looks like she’s ready for a career change.

The book is a collection of stories that touch upon her life as a daughter, mother, and actress in the spotlight. Per The Futon Critic, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos will executive produce two new “Ripped From the Headlines” movies through Milojo Productions Banner. Let’s Get Physical and The Disappearance of Cari Faver will debut in October on Lifetime.
