The preview for week 7 of The Bachelorette has fans talking about Zach Shallcross. His hometown date revealed Patrick Warburton in the preview. Fans immediately started wondering if Patrick is Zach’s father. So, what is known? Is Zach related to the Family Guy star?
Is Zach Shallcross related to Patrick Warburton?
Many fans went to Twitter to note they saw Patrick Warburton in the hometown date previews. Fans wondered if perhaps Zach Shallcross is Patrick’s son. As it turns out he is not. However, Zach is related to Patrick.
Zach is Patrick’s nephew. His mother, Megan, is Patrick’s sister. So of course he had to make an appearance for Zach’s hometown date with Rachel Recchia. What else is known?
According to Heavy, some users on Reddit had already figured out the connection based on social media. The Reddit user said, “I just found out Zach’s uncle is Patrick Warburton who voiced Kronk (also Puddy on Seinfeld or the voice of Royal Pain from Sky High and a ton of other things like Space Force). Ever since I can totally hear Kronk in Zach’s voice and I want to hear him say ‘Oh, right. The rose. The rose from Rachel, the rose chosen especially for me from Rachel, Rachel’s rose.'”
Others wanted to know how they were able to figure this out before the preview aired. They said they knew his mom’s maiden name was Warburton and the family posts a lot on social media. The fan pieced it together.

Who is Patrick Warburton?
If there is anyone in Bachelor Nation who doesn’t know who Patrick Warburton is, here is a little background. According to IMDb, Patrick is well known for the role of “Puddy” in the hit NBC comedy Seinfeld. He was the laconic, enigmatic, quirky Saab salesman and Elaine’s boyfriend. He also starred for 7 seasons on the CBS comedy Rules of Engagement with David Spade.
One of Patrick’s other famous roles is the voiceover for the role of the paraplegic and over-zealous cop, “Joe Swanson,” on the hit comedy Family Guy.
He has also been the voiceover for many other animated projects.
Aside from his extensive acting career, he along with his nephew Zach are passionate about supporting St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
