Will Carlin Bates’ Mysterious Health Deter Her From More Kids?
Might Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates’ ongoing health issues affect how many kids she will have in the future? She’s currently dealing with concerning health issues but hasn’t gotten any answers. Fans wonder if this will end up affecting the size of her and Evan Stewart‘s family.
Currently, Carlin and Evan have two kids, Layla, two years, and Zade, four months. Carlin is one of 19 kids, and some of her siblings appear to be having large families of their own, too.
While it’s unclear how many kids Carlin and Evan want to have, fans think that it may not be up to them amid her health issues. For the past few months, Carlin has been having seizure-like episodes and passing out. One episode even caused a concussion.
Carlin Bates recently mentioned that it’s possible she’s had a seizure condition her whole life and the seizures only started during her second child’s birth. Whatever condition she has only began after she had Zade.
Naturally, fans are wondering if the condition could worsen with subsequent births and whether Carlin will continue to have kids.

In a new post on the Duggar Bates Confessions Instagram page, a fan brought up the fact that Carlin has confirmed her health issues started with her second pregnancy and delivery. She started having these episodes not long after Zade was born. So, fans are wondering if she might choose to have fewer children as a result.
Some fans are hopeful that Evan Stewart and Carlin Bates would put her health before having more kids. One fan says, “I don’t think she and Evan would do anything to put Baby Stewart 3 or Carlin in any danger.”
Another fan points out, “They don’t strike me as holding the same perspective of quiverful that her parents hold.”
So, maybe Carlin and Evan never intended to have a huge family. Fans think they might want to have a couple of more kids but that they will wait until Carlin has answers and is healthier to do so.
At this point, Carlin Bates is still awaiting answers about her health. So, she may not know whether she wants to have more kids or if it’s safe for her to do so. For now, fans will have to wait and see what happens.
Hopefully, Carlin stays safe regardless of what she and Evan choose to do. Fans believe she will follow the guidance of her doctors when it comes to having more kids.
