Duggar Fan Feud Erupts Over Jessa Seewald’s ‘Priorities’?

Because of the Duggar family name, Jessa and many of her siblings continue to live their lives in the public eye. This has both its benefits and drawbacks. Most recently, fans have gotten into a little fight over how she chooses to use her platform and what she does on social media.
Duggar fans question Jessa Seewald’s priorities.
As we reported, Jessa got feisty with fans questioning whether she attended her sister, Jill Dillard’s baby shower last month. She fought back as fans called her out for seemingly not supporting her sister. Though Jessa didn’t make it into any photos, she claims that she actually was present at the baby shower.
In a new post on the Duggar Bates Confessions Instagram page, a fan pointed out Jessa Seewald’s latest fiery social media response.
Duggar fans think it’s very telling that Jessa Seewald responded about the baby shower but hasn’t said much about her brother, Josh. It sounds like some fans have been expecting a statement after her brother was sentenced. He is spending the next 12-and-a-half years behind bars for child pornography charges.
It’s worth noting that Jessa and her husband, Ben, issued a statement after the guilty verdict came in in December. They have not, however, said anything since then.
Duggar fans are divided.
It looks like fans are torn between wanting Jessa Seewald to speak out and wanting to give her space and privacy to heal. Some fans are calling her out for choosing to speak about the baby shower instead of her brother’s crimes.
However, other fans argue that Jessa Seewald shouldn’t feel obligated to speak out about Josh Duggar at all. After all, she was one of his molestation victims years ago.
One fan says, “The victim of SA is not required to make a statement about her abuser no matter the circumstance. It does not mean she condones the SA.”
