‘The View:’ Alyssa Farah Griffin’s Awkward Interview Goes Viral

The View fans called out new host Alyssa Farah Griffin yet again. They think she was acting “jealous” towards a guest. The awkward interview has since gone viral on social media. This is Alyssa’s first week as the new panelist but the fans haven’t since warmed up to her.

As TV Shows Ace previously reported, the viewers were in a state of shock when they saw Alyssa in Meghan McCain’s place. The ABC-produced company didn’t give the fans a proper head’s up that she would become the new co-host. Alyssa made her debut on Wednesday, July 27 and she’s already caught controversy.

In the most recent episode of The View, Alyssa Farah Griffin interviewed a guest. During the Thursday, July 28 broadcast, she upset fans with the comment she made to Karine Jean-Pierre. The White House Press Secretary appeared in a virtual interview from the state capital. Alyssa first mentioned Karine’s roots in the presidential residence.

Then she wanted to shift the conversation away from politics. She talked about Karine’s “fabulous” office. Once again, Alyssa shocked the viewers at home who assumed this was going to be about the current political situation.

“…And Karine, I just have to say congratulations on breaking multiple glass ceilings, and I hope as it gets cold in D.C., you use the fireplace in your office because it’s fabulous,” Ashley said with a laugh.

The View host also has ties to the White House. She was the former communications director and assistant to the 45th President Donald Trump in 2020. Ashley has openly criticized Trump. However, she still remains conservative in her values and political opinions.

The View fans noticed that Alyssa’s interview with Karine was awkward. Others thought she was “jealous” of her position. Some of them took to Twitter to share their reaction. They slammed Alyssa once again amid the growing calls for her firing.

The View fans want the new host to be fired

The View fans couldn’t help but notice the tension between the ladies. This contributed to the already cumbersome interview. Fans think Alyssa needs to offer more to the table than her previous experience with the White House. Since she ended up as the new host of a daytime talk show, they think she wishes she was still working there.

“Alyssa’s jealousy just came through…you can tell she wishes she would’ve had Karine’s position for Trump,” one person wrote.

“Alyssa always references the White House,” a second user added.

The 33-year-old was hired on as a full-time host on The View. However, the current cast members reportedly don’t think she’s respecting her elders.
