On her Instagram stories this week, Josie revealed to fans that she was having a home security system installed. The system features several interior and exterior cameras, as well as controls to lock the front door and turn lights on and off.
The Bringing Up Bates couple seemed very excited about this new purchase and they sounded relieved to have these extra safety features.
Because these were posted to Josie’s Instagram stories, they’re no longer available to view on her page. Instagram stories are only up for 24 hours before they disappear.
But the fans who saw the snaps are now talking about them and speculating what may have led the couple to make this purchase.

On Reddit, fans are discussing Josie and Kelton’s decision to get a home security system. In one of her videos, Josie implied something had happened that made them want a security system. On Reddit, one fan asked others what they think might have happened.
One Reddit user speculates, “Fans found out where they are living or something’s going within the family.”
Another Bringing Up Bates fan notes, “Tools are very expensive and stolen a lot. Also like copper pipes. I wonder if someone broke into his work truck.”
