Former 19 Kids & Counting and Counting On star Jim Bob Duggar was recently slighted by nearly everyone in his family. As he celebrated a special moment in his life, his kids failed to recognize him.

Jim Bob Duggar turns 57 years old.

If you didn’t know, Jim Bob turned 57 on Monday, July 18. The father of 19 appears to have had a little birthday celebration at home, but it looks like his family kept it pretty low-key.

Surprisingly, only one of Jim Bob Duggar’s kids posted on social media in honor of his birthday.

Just one Duggar child wishes their dad a happy birthday.

On Instagram on Tuesday, July 19, Jessa Seewald shared a new photo of her dad and her youngest daughter, Fern. Fern Seewald and Jim Bob Duggar happen to share the same birthday.

As Jim Bob celebrated his 57th birthday, Fern turned one.

Below, you can see the photo of Jim Bob and Fern. Jessa wrote, “Had a wonderful time yesterday celebrating these birthday buddies! Love them both dearly! 🤍🤍” 

Why didn’t Jim Bob Duggar’s other kids post about him?

It’s unclear why nobody else shared a birthday tribute to Jim Bob this year. As of now, Jessa is the only one who posted about the special day on social media.

Even Jim Bob’s wife, Michelle, didn’t share about her husband’s big day.

Now, it is possible that the other kids called, texted, or visited him on his birthday. Maybe some of them were even at this celebration on Monday. In the background of Jessa’s post, only one blurry person can be seen.

We’ll have to wait and see whether anyone else takes to social media to wish Jim Bob a happy birthday.

It’s worth noting that Jessa did receive some negative feedback for posting about her dad on social media. So, maybe his other kids don’t want to deal with all of the haters. Jessa did fight back against fans’ strong words.

Now, whenever the Duggar kids post on social media, they typically receive negative comments about their family, including Josh. Some of Jim Bob’s kids appear to be laying low for this reason, so that could explain the lack of acknowledgment on his birthday this year.
