Blu Waldrop Makes Mama Courtney Proud, Overcomes Fears
Sweet Home Sextuplets star Courtney Waldrop is a proud mama. Why though? Well, seems like one of her sextuplets, Blu Waldrop, managed to overcome his fear and braved the water. Mama Courtney recently shared a video of her six adorable darlings enjoying the summer heat in their backyard pool.
Courtney Waldrop Fills In On The Sextuplets’ Swim Lessons Progress
Courtney shares these sextuplets with her husband, Eric Waldrop, and the children have sure grown up fast. The couple has enrolled the six for swim lessons, and it seems like everyone was doing well except Blu Waldrop. On July 5, the God’s Divine Nine owner updated fans about the swim lessons on Instagram.

She mentioned that all six are swimming and have gained the confidence to enter the water without any fear. However, the oldest of the six, Blu, has been a bit hesitant. Although he is quite good at swimming, he isn’t ready to jump off the diving board yet like his siblings.
However, it seems like the little fish has finally mastered the art.
Courtney Waldrop Is Proud Of Blu Waldrop’s Achievement

Pointing out what Blu had to say about this achievement, the reality star added, “Listen to what he says when he comes up ‘MY DOOD IT.’ If that ain’t the sweetest, I don’t know what is! Way to go, Blue!”
She also addressed the weird background noise by Bridge Waldrop, stating, “Also please ignore the gosh awful sound effect Bridge is making in the background!! I guess he thought that would help Blu out.”
Once Blu gained confidence that he could do it, he went in again for a quick dive making his mama super proud.
Why Did TLC Cancel Sweet Home Sextuplets?
In 2017, Eric and Courtney Waldrop found out they are soon-to-be parents to not just one or two but six kids. This wasn’t the first time the family welcomed more than one child. Before welcoming the sextuplets, the couple had their twins Bridge and Wales in 2012. Their eldest son Saylor Waldrop was born in 2008.

Although the TLC series went on for three seasons, the family finally called it quits. TLC even approached the Waldrops for another season, but the family decided otherwise. With 9 children, a family farm, Eric’s landscaping job, and other daily chores, the Waldrop family had enough on their plate without adding the stress of the show.
Fortunately for fans, mama Courtney does drop in glimpses of her family on Instagram every now and then!
