Hallmark has just announced they are currently filming a new rom-com, Wedding Of A Lifetime. Jonathan Bennett (Mean Girls, The Christmas House) is starring alongside Brooke D’Orsay (Miss Christmas, A Dickens Of A Holiday). Bennett is also an executive producer of this new movie.

According to Deadline, this Hallmark movie centers around high school sweethearts, Darby (D’Orsay) and Jake (Bennett), who are now engaged. The long-time couple grew up in a small, mountain town together, but now find themselves in a “rut.”
They have decided that they no longer love each other. They both plan on telling their families this big news. However, it turns out that they are now in a “romantic relationship competition.” Turns out the whole town nominated them, and they are on this popular daytime show, competing.
Moreover, the grand prize is an all-expenses-paid “wedding of a lifetime!”
Now, Jake and Darby find themselves still engaged, as they don’t want to let the town, or their family and friends down. In addition, this public spectacle is helping their careers.
Now, the two must pretend to be madly in love. Will they be forced to reveal the truth, or will they finally find a spark after all of these years?
Wedding Of A Lifetime Is A ‘Feel-Good’ Rom-Com
Elizabeth Yost, Senior Vice President, Development, Programming, Crown Media Family Networks promises this will be a fun movie. “This is the kind of fun, feel-good rom-com our viewers have come to expect from us.” She then continued about the pairing of Jonathan and Brooke.

When Will Hallmark’s Wedding Of A Lifetime Premiere?
Hallmark’s Wedding Of A Lifetime will premiere later this year. As Countdown To Christmas premieres on Saturday, October 22, and Hallmark has already shared their Fall Into Love movies that run through August, it is a safe bet that this new rom-com will air in September, or on one of the first two Saturdays in October.
