On Tuesday, January 18, Julie Chrisley admitted she got her husband Todd to join her on Nutrisystem. They teamed up to lose weight together. During her interview with Us Weekly, she shared the results. Once she noticed the results, she got her stubborn husband to join her.

“I have been a partner with Nutrisystem for several years now, and I am down officially 30 pounds,” Julie Chrisley told Us Weekly at the time. “It has been something that has taken time. It has been truly a lifestyle change for me because I love to cook and I love to eat.”

She’s someone who loves to cook from scratch. However, she didn’t have to when she joined Nutrisystem. All of the snacks, drinks, and meals are pre-planned and pre-made. Julie Chrisley called it “easy” and “convenient.” Even though Todd doesn’t like diets since he maintains his figure just fine, he struggled when he tested positive for COVID in 2020.

“I had put on about 18 pounds, I think it was, during COVID. And if you watch Chrisley Knows Best, then everyone knows that I’ve always been proud that I was the same size that I was when I finished high school, and that had never changed,” Todd said. “COVID did more about my weight than it did my overall health.”

The Chrisley Knows Best star gained weight because his metabolism slowed down after battling COVID. No one knows how the virus can affect the body. Some of those side effects can be severe, while it reacts differently in each person. Yet, Todd was able to melt the weight off thanks to Nutrisystem.
