Zach Roloff Says Matt & Caryn Babysitting Kids Isn’t Realistic
LPBW fans wondered if Zach Roloff and Matt’s relationship was on the mend after TLC dropped a sneak preview of tonight’s episode. The preview revealed Matt took a trip to Zach and Tori’s house to check out the sandbox that his son built. Sadly, Zach makes it clear during his confessionals that he simply isn’t ready to mend any bridges with his father and his father should just accept the new “norm.”

Matt Roloff offers to babysit Jackson and Lilah
During tonight’s episode of LPBW, Matt Roloff extends a bit of an olive branch to his son. He makes the trip to see him and take a look at the sandbox he built. Matt tells the cameras he is beaming with joy as he watches his son passionately build projects on his own property. What Matt and his girlfriend Caryn Chander really yearn for, however, is to spend time with Jackson and Lilah. Caryn Chandler didn’t come with him to see the sandbox, but she admits that she deeply misses seeing Matt’s grandchildren.
While he was visiting his son, he reminds Zach that he and Caryn are more than happy to take the kids overnight if Zach and Tori need some alone time together. Zach tells the cameras he appreciates the offer but proceeds to shut it down.
Zach Roloff confirms keeping kids from his father
During his confessional with the cameras, Zach Roloff more or less admitted he and Tori were definitely keeping the children from Matt and Caryn. He explains that it was a nice gesture for his father to offer to watch the children. He, however, shut down the idea as being something they would even consider. Zach said that it “wasn’t realistic” for Caryn and Matt to assist in watching the children overnight right now.
According to Zach Roloff, things just weren’t getting that much better between him and his father. So, he needed Matt to work on accepting the new norm because babysitting his children overnight just wasn’t going to happen right now.
LPBW fans worry about the situation
Fans of Little People, Big World fans admit they are not happy with the situation. They believe Zach is purposely keeping his children from his father simply because he’s unhappy he didn’t get his way. Likewise, they believe he’s punishing his children because he’s throwing a tantrum.
Sadly, it doesn’t appear as if things are any better between Zach and Matt at this point in time. Share your thoughts on this family drama in the comments down below.

I understand why Zach feels this way…his dads dedication isn’t toward him..but to Caryn and then his grandchildren. His dad is the person who thinks he should have his way..he has been very cold in this farm situation. .. if the farm will no longer be part of the show…then it is so much less inviting to watch..a sad truth.
Please don’t stop the grandchildren from Matt but it doesn’t have to be as often. Never discussed the farm again with Matt.
I wouldn’t want my children around Matt, he just plays it up for the show.
Totally agree !
I wholeheartedly agree with the statement concerning Matt and Caryn.
It is going to take time to heal and mend what is left. They are going to have to wait till Zach and tori are ready.
What I can’t understand is why Zac is acting the way he is ? Anything happens to Matt I would say it will all go to kids Zac wonts to think what he is doing to Jackson he loved his grandpa and the farm you put aside your differences for the sake of your kids sorry but grow up Zac and tori !!
Zach and Tori tried to use thier kids as bargaining chips; now they are sulking. Matt, like all parents, owes his children an education according to thier abilities and nothing more. Matt worked too hard to just hand off to these entitled brats!
Grow up everyone
The farm should of been sold to the oldest or Zack but things just don’t happen for a reason
I agree. We only get one set of parents and if they are good people who have done their best for us we should do our best to honour them. No one is a perfect parent. No person is perfect. Matt and Amy worked together to provide a happy home for their family. Zack should think on that. Don’t separate the children from a loving Grandad.children need their grandparents.
It’s so sad that Matt finds it easy to sell his farm to strangers then to his own family( children ) he says that they couldn’t keep the farm up to date, but he will sell to stranger, that will probably do more harm then good, I for one will stop watching this show because Caryn totally has a say on that farm, and lost so much respect for Matt, he just shows his kids are not number 1 in his book,
Well I understand how Zach feels for years and years and years I’ve been watching the show and Madison always said that farm was for the family but since his new girlfriend got into the picture that is all changed so why build something so beautiful and nice and then sell it to a stranger when it should’ve gone to the family that would’ve love that place more than anything Matt needs to open his eyes and his girlfriend needs to stay the hell out of it Amy should’ve just kept that property and sold it to her kids because Matt asshole always has been always will be.
When You’re So hard to your children, not to sell the farm to your children (I prefer to give/sell my home to my children; I can’t take the money When I die) You can expect less respect from your children. I always heard on the show that he wants to sell it to his children….. #when money becomes more important than your (grand)children
Any really should have sold it to her kids , so sad!
Amy needs to get the hell out of Matt life. And leave him alone. He has more brain then she will ever have.
She is trying but Chris wants to be buddies with him I would be telling Chris enough is enough
Stop being immature Zak. Did you see how Jackson runs to give Matt and Caryn hugs when he sees them. H has been treated very well by his grandparents and it would harm him to have that bind broken.
Matt is all about money he could care less if his kids take over. I don’t blame Zach for how he is feeling.
With all the talk for years that the farm could continue in the family but now it’s going to be “sold to strangers” Matt’s first concern was MONEY! Unless he has the farm hocked to eyeballs he could’ve tried to make a deal with his own children no matter the price. Family should be first! Put the farm where your mouth has been for the last dozen years. Both or all 3 boys wanted the farm. It could’ve been managed. As far as Zachary keeping kids from Matt and Caryn good going their your kids and you do what you want. Going there won’t be the same all they knew will be on the other side of the fence! Stick to your guns.
You can take my opinion or leave it, but I think if we all didn’t stick our nose where it doesn’t belong, we would see that it’s not our business to pass judgment on anyone but ourselves. To do otherwise is gossiping.
I don’t think it’s very good to keep kids from dad but I get it.Zach and the rest of the children can no longer look past Matt’s lies. They all know that Caryn controls him and she’s not gonna let any of those children have anything of Matt’s. She’s got her eye on the prize and is systematically isolating Matt from children
Zack and Tori said they will not keep there kids from seeing Matt. That would not be right. Matt will have to come to there house to see them. That was said on last episode. Zack and Tori are right not to keep kids from Matt. They are being grown up. It will take time to be where Matt and Zack was and Mai ever will be. Who knows nobody. I have watched the show since day one and loved it. Hope it still comes on.
