‘Record of Ragnarok’ Back For Season 2, See Preview Trailer
Japanese manga series Record of Ragnarok Season 1 had a fierce start after its release on Netflix last year. Written by Takumi Fukui and Shinya Umemura, this animated series has now been renewed for another season. Read on to see what is known so far.
Season 1 Of Record of Ragnarok Ready For TV Broadcast
Record of Ragnarok is a fantasy-action anime currently streaming on Netflix and originally from Warner Bros. Japan. It is an adaptation of a manga publication by the same name, produced by Graphinica. This is the same company that has worked on other popular names like Wonder Momo, Another World, and Hellsing.

The news of the anime show being renewed was announced on its official website. More so, the post also stated that the first season is currently in distribution and ready for broadcast on TV at MBS, BS11, Tokyo MX, and Cartoon Network.
Gods Leading The Fight In The Netflix Manga Series
Among the 13 stints, fans have seen only three fights. The Gods have won two fights against humankind and entered the fourth round with a 2-1 lead. Its first round was between Thor and Lu Bu, of which Thor bagged the winner’s title. However, in the second round, it was between Zeus and Adam, where Zeus won. Lastly, the third round was between Kojiro Saski and Poseidon, where the former won the fight.

With Season 2, the fans will get to enjoy more futuristic fights. The fourth fight involves the god Hercules taking on an infamous serial killer, Jack the Ripper. More so, fans anticipate future fights, including other popular names. Some notables are Raiden Tameemon versus Shiva (Round Five) and Buddha versus Zerofuku (Round Six).
Currently, only a few chapters from this manga comic are out. So, it is uncertain which human combatant shall fight which god.
Record Of Ragnarok Season 2 Debut Delayed
Finally, the official renewal confirmation for the Record of Ragnarok ensures that the series is in full-scale production. Fans originally predicted that the latest season would hit Netflix by the end of 2022. However, that isn’t the case, as confirmed by the latest updates.
According to What’s On Netflix, the Record of Ragnarok Season 2 will debut sometime in 2023.

In the tournament, 12 notable humans from different time periods come together for a deadly duel against 13 powerful gods. Unfortunately, humanity only wins if their side achieves 7 victories or more.
