Who Will Be The ‘Stranger Things’ Hinted Death In Volume 2?
Stranger Things Season 4 returned to screens with all the awkwardness of high school drama, sprinkled with teenage romance, and its craveable thriller adventures. It was spot on with its continued 80s nostalgic throwbacks. Stranger Things brought viewers their favorite characters and introduced a handful of new ones. The Duffer Brothers have done a fantastic job building their characters; the likeable and unlikeable ones as well. Fans were greeted with the usual suspects: Dustin, Max, Lucus, Eleven, Mike, Will, Jonathan, Steve, Nancy, Robin, Erica, Murray, Joyce, and Hopper making their way through the new chapter. Another day, another monster.
Insider indicated that Will, played by Noah Schnapp, hinted that a major character will die in Volume 2 which is scheduled to release on July 1, 2022. So needless to say, fans are on edge with news that in the upcoming Stranger Things Season 4, Volume 2 one of these beloved characters are likely to be on the chopping block. Tricky Netflix, holding on to the last two episodes until July 1, 2022. Fans are left biting their nails, begging to find out who will be the next victim(s) of Season 4.
While your guess may be as good as TV Show Ace, here are some speculations:
Lower Chance of Severed Ties
Each of these characters have a balanced likeability and importance to the storyline. The writers have built each of their characters this season and don’t seem to be as likely to be leaving. Insider and Fansided offered more character discussions and made some valid points in their analysis of each character.

Moderate Chance of Impending Doom
Honestly, none of the characters seem safe. This group has the less known, more disliked, and the newest characters that seem to each be relatively “easy” targets. Fans have some ties, but they would not be quite as devastating to lose.

- Brenner
- Eddie
- Jonathan
- Hopper
If fans had to choose, Dr. Brenner is the most satisfying choice to watch karma take her revenge. Viewers would be happy to say goodbye to him after the many long years of torture he put Eleven through.
High Chance of Meeting a Gruesome End
Frankly, all of these would be a gut punch if they are the victim chosen to say farewell. Fans are not ready for any of these to be killed off. Perhaps there is hope for the dead to rise again though. After all, Hopper made his way back in the storyline after his previously assumed death.

Can the story continue without Eleven? Joyce is the best fun mom around. Will has been through so much torture with the Upside-down already. Steve and Murray, what would Stranger Things be without their supportive characters?
In truth, any character is a potential. It is tough to think of any of these low, moderate, or high risk being eliminated. What do you think?
