When Will Hallmark’s ‘When Calls The Heart’ Season 10 Start Production?
Just over a week ago, Hallmark announced that they have renewed When Calls The Heart for Season 10. Hearties are jubilant. However, when will they start production?

Here Is The Date When Calls The Heart Season 10 Starts Production
Just over a week ago, Hearties got the news that they were hoping for. When Calls The Heart Season 10 is happening! Now we even know when they are going to start filming.
According to Hollywood North Buzz, the Hallmark Channel will begin filming WCTH on Monday, July 25, 2022. Moreover, filming is scheduled to be completed on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.
However, we may start seeing social media posts even a week or two before they start to film. Oftentimes, the cast and crew start preparing for the new season. Last year, director Peter DeLuise started to prep for WCTH Season 9 on June 24, 2021. On Instagram, he shared a photo from the set and wrote, “Season 9
Prep Day 1.”
Currently, he has not shared anything on social media for the start of the new season. That should be forthcoming. In addition, Erin Krakow not only stars as Elizabeth Thornton, but she is also an executive producer. She is usually on set early, and she loves to share it all on Instagram.
What Year Will WCTH Season 10 Take Place?
Just a year ago, When Calls The Heart director Peter DeLuise revealed that Season 9 took place in 1919. That meant changes like automobiles, and ankles showing. What about Season 10?
It seems likely that WCTH is heading into the Roaring 20s! Assuming that they do keep the intended three-month time jump, the new season should start in 1920. It will be very fun to see what our favorites from Hope Valley will be wearing, and what other changes will be happening.
When Calls The Heart Has New Showrunner For Season 10
One big change for When Calls The Heart Season 10 is that John Tinker is no longer the showrunner. Now, Lindsay Sturman is the new showrunner. Sturman has not yet shared any plans or information on the upcoming season.
However, she is not new to some members of the cast. She was previously with Supergirl, a series that Andrea Brooks also starred in.
How Will WCTH Top Hope Valley Days?
During When Calls The Heart Season 10, the Hallmark series will reach a milestone. They will film their 100th episode! Last season, the series had two episodes devoted to the first annual Hope Valley Days. Could they top this two-episode event for the 100th episode?
When Does When Calls The Heart Season 10 Premiere?
When Calls The Heart Season 10 will premiere sometime in 2023. In all but one of the most recent seasons, the premiere was in February. However, in 2022 they did not premiere Season 9 until March due to the Winter Olympics. Hallmark did not want Hearties to have to choose between their favorite series and the winter athletic events.
