Trial Conference Date Set For Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Divorce
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s divorce is still ongoing. In February 2021, Kim shocked everyone when she filed for divorce from her husband of seven years. Since then, she has taken the necessary steps to move on with her life. Earlier this year, she was declared legally single.
However, that doesn’t mean their divorce is far from over. The former couple is headed to a trial. The rapper is still not cooperating behind the scenes. This comes after Kanye was banned from Instagram for sharing too many details of their marriage. Read on to learn more about the trial date and more details.
Kim Kardashian & Kanye West face off in court
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will have to meet in court. They’re still at odds in their divorce as the hip-hop artist is accused of manipulating his ex-wife. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, the two were spotted together this past weekend at daughter North West’s basketball game. Kim and Kanye tried to put up a united front for the sake of their children.
However, that hasn’t been easy as the Yeezy designer is described as a “volatile” man, according to a new report. An insider told TMZ that the two are on speaking terms again. Despite their ability to work out their co-parenting relationship, they can’t agree on custody arrangements. Kim Kardashian has been hit with a series of issues in the past year alone.
She previously revealed that the Sunday Sermons host already went through several lawyers during their divorce proceedings. Kanye can’t seem to agree with his attorney when it comes to reaching a settlement. Kim and Kanye share four children — North, nine, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, three. At the end of October 2021, she officially move on when she started dating comedian Pete Davidson.
When is the trial conference?
In the official court papers obtained by The Sun, the trial conference is set for Friday, August 5, 2022. However, Kim Kardashian and Kanye must be willing to communicate beforehand. The Family-Centered Case Resolution Conference could happen earlier if both are willing to “meet and confer.” Kim and Kanye have to meet to hear each other’s side and any issues that they can agree on.
Also, an expert witness can be called into this meeting. During this time, they will also determine what else is needed whether they settle the case or if it goes to trial. The court documents also claim that Kim Kardashian and Kanye must also exchange financial information. Most of Kanye’s issues stem from Kim’s new boyfriend, especially since he recently met their children.
Kanye is reportedly on his fifth lawyer. Hollywood attorney Samantha Spector filed to remove herself from the case last month. What are your thoughts on Kim Kardashian and Kanye’s trial conference? Do you think they’ll finally settle? Sound off below in the comment section.
