‘Selling Sunset’ Loses A Cast Member Ahead Of Season 6 — Who Is It?
One of the hottest Netflix reality TV shows will return for a sixth season. However, one of the stars won’t be part of it. TMZ recently confirmed that one of the stars will not come back for another season of Selling Sunset.
Keep reading to get the inside scoop and find out why the real estate agent will no longer move forward with the show.
Selling Sunset says goodbye to one beloved real estate agent
Selling Sunset currently has five seasons available to stream on Netflix. Since the show first aired, many fans really grew to love and respect Maya Vander. The Israeli real estate agent preferred to keep her head above water and her nose out of the drama. Right from the start, Maya made it abundantly clear that she was there to sell houses — not fight with the other girls.
But sadly, it appears that Maya will no longer be part of the show. So why is she leaving?
According to TMZ, Maya Vander just really wants to focus on her family at the moment. While filming Selling Sunset, she had to continuously go back and forth between Los Angeles and her home and Miami. And that’s a commute that would bother anyone.
Maya wants to dedicate more time to her children and also build up her real estate empire in Miami. TMZ also reports that Maya switched her real estate license and is now a member of the Compass Real Estate Firm.
The news outlet reports that Maya Vander did genuinely enjoy her time as part of the Selling Sunset cast, but it was her choice not to film another season. It really appears as if she will be missed by fans and costars alike.
The Netflix star suffered a tragic miscarriage
Throughout Selling Sunset Season 5, fans watched Maya Vander experience another pregnancy. However, she tragically lost the baby sometime after filming wrapped up. She really struggled with the loss and TMZ reports it also factored into her decision to leave the show.
For now, Maya is thankful for the children she does have, Aiden and Elle. But still, losing a child at any stage can be incredibly heartbreaking.
Fans wish Maya Vander all the best in her new endeavors and hope that she is successful with her new firm in Miami.
But as far as anyone else can tell, Selling Sunset fans will get a chance to see the rest of the women back onscreen soon. There is no confirmed Season 6 release date yet, but fans can be sure there will be plenty of drama.
