Katie Thurston Addresses Relationship Rumors: Did They Split?
Another one might’ve just bitten the dust for Bachelor Nation fans as Katie Thurston took to her Instagram Stories just an hour ago with a shocking message about her relationship status with John Hersey.
As TvShowsAce reported recently, Michelle Young and Nayte Olukoya announced their split a few days ago. Bachelor and Bachelorette fans that were rooting for Michelle and Nayte were hit with another heavy blow tonight when Katie Thurston appeared to have confirmed the end of her relationship with John Hersey in a very cryptic and blunt message.
The Couple Appeared To Be Going Strong
As People Magazine reminds us, John Hersey was not initially on Katie Thurston’s radar as far as love was concerned. He appeared on her season of Bachelorette. And, he went home pretty quickly. The pair, however, ended up reconnecting last year and started dating. A few months ago (in March) Katie and John’s relationship still seemed to be going strong as they celebrated reconnecting a year ago.
On her season of Bachelorette, Katie ended up falling for Blake Moynes. The couple got engaged, but the romance quickly fizzled out and it wasn’t long before they split. As Bachelor Nation fans recall, there were a lot of rumors and speculation that Katie was unfaithful to Blake.

Bachelor and Bachelorette personality took to her Instagram Stories just an hour ago with a shocking message about her relationship with John Hersey. The message was short, sweet, and to the point. It appeared as if she caught wind of rumors surrounding her relationship and decided to squash them.
“Statement: no we aren’t together.” She penned on her Instagram Stories. You can see a screenshot of her statement down below:
Unfortunately, Katie Thurston’s statement was short and to the point. So, fans who were rooting for her and thinking John was the one have no idea why this couple split up. Considering some Bachelorette fans suspected Katie was unfaithful to Blake, some have already begun to go that same direction of speculation with this relationship as well. For now, there is nothing more than rumors and speculation on why the couple broke up. Time will tell if Katie and/or John decide to issue any additional statements about the end of their relationship.

Katie blindsided Blake when she dumped him. Even if she wasn’t physically unfaithful to him, she started up with John right away, so it was pretty obvious she was emotionally unfaithful. Katie has a mean streak..I wonder if John finally realized that. I used to like her until she went after Greg and then Thomas. She even tried to warn Becca off Thomas. Men should steer clear of her until she realizes SHE is the problem, not them.
