Celebrity Blogger John Yates Attempts Suicide, What’s The Status?

Late Tuesday night, John Yates’s Instagram account was taken over by his best friend Julie. She was elusive about information she had regarding John. Clearly, it was not good. Julie explained that she was going to go live shortly but in life, time can get away, especially in a crisis. By this morning, a link was posted for all who did not know. John was in the hospital and he was definitely not okay.
John Yates History Of Disruption
The thing about John is that reality stars just gravitate toward him. They feel at ease speaking with him and he can connect easily. However, there are those people who do not like the truth bombs he can drop. Therefore, they feel perfectly fine bullying him for what his career choice is. Currently, he has his Instagram page. There, he posts the dish on TLC stars, those in the Bravo-verse, celeb scandals, and more. Plus, he shares fun and friendly photos he has with the likes of Danielle Jbali, Angela Deem, and more. It’s a love/hate relationship, like a best friend who has all of the tea.
John also has his Twitter account as well as a YouTube channel. Despite people coming after him for a long time, he actually uses his platform for good. Additionally, he became very invested in the Seeking Sister Wife/Dimitri Snowden scandal which helped promote a GoFundMe. As you may recall, Dimitri’s only legal wife Christeline went into hiding and needed help getting out. Luckily, John was right there to promote and be an ally. Unfortunately, not everyone saw some of the good he had done as he could be a tad impish so the bullying reached new heights. Finally, John cracked and now all we have are prayers.
What We Know
Apparently, during his last live, John Yates did not look right. He then stopped returning texts and it was clear that something was wrong. Even his followers sensed something was off. On Drop the Mic with Anne and Maria, they revealed that John had attempted suicide last night. He had slit his wrists and his partner, Cody is waiting to see him.
Anne and Maria completely attribute this to the bullying and harassment that he received. The fact that some were saluting what happened made them even angrier but it never should have come to this. Taking your life is never the answer. Julie joined the conversation and shared he did in fact slit his wrists. They were able to stitch him up and now it is just a waiting game.
Clearly, his BFF Julie could only last so long in the conversation with some of the hateful things being spewed. The hosts did reiterate this is not a ploy or a joke for those believing otherwise. There are just no other words. Maybe he was not always someone’s cup of tea but bullying someone to the point of feeling that broken is never the answer. Suicide is never the answer and there is help out there. There will be more updates as soon as we get them in. Thoughts and prayers are with John and anyone struggling right now. You are seen.

This is sad when anyone tries to so this but mebe he was shamed regarding stating he would putpeopled children on porn sites
He should not have a platform. He is the bully! He has accused other content creators of being child predators, threatens to post pictures of other content creators children on porn sites, and he and his husband have repeatedly used the N word. He creates a toxic atmosphere on YouTube and then has a complete meltdown when called on his antics. He is a victim of his own behavior and the consequences of his actions. Get your facts straight!
it was all a scam. We were his friends and we believed him. He lied to all of us about his suicide attempt. He scammed a lot of people.
There are many lives where Yates exploited children. The John and 90day Danielle J. Awhile back we’re laughing about the Texas kids being shot and murdered last month. He holds up imaginary rifle and play shoots w sound effects while she laughs. Much more to the story. He knows he is being investigated criminally .Before was only civil.
I just want to say that I’m sending love John and Cody’s way. John doesn’t deserve to be in such pain that this is the route that made sense to him. No one should need to be brought to this point from bullying. I have been following all of this drama and nonsense from everyone in that neck of the woods for at least a year, and it’s appalling. No matter how much you don’t like John, or disagree with him, these people are harassing and tormenting him, point blank period. If you hate him SO much, don’t watch. These are *grown* women, with children…families…acting like a bunch of fools online. What an example to show.. Making up lies, spinning a narrative, dissecting every move that this man makes. In their eyes, there is no redemption. There is nothing he can do or say to make anyone stop this bullying and leave him alone. He has faults, he says and does things that are admittedly very problematic at times, of course. But there is absolutely no reason, under any circumstance, for adults to be taking part in treating people like this. This is worse than any high school bullying you can imagine, only we’re not dealing with teenagers. The threats, stalking, compromising of livelihoods, the list goes on and on. It’s not even just John being attacked, it’s several people. John would never ever put children in harms way, ESPECIALLY after what he’s been through, and I truly believe everyone knows that. But people latch on to any bite back that he has (whether talking out of his behind, or not), and amplify it to fit the narrative.
To these bullies: You ladies know so much about him, allegedly, but you guys don’t know THIS? I call BS. You push and push until you get the reaction you’re aiming for. You want to see him suffer, and that is completely deranged.
The issue is not when he’s called out for his wrong-doings, by all means, call him out. The issue is constant abuse with full intent to cause damage.
