Whitney Bates Shares Special Tribute To Jadon: ‘Celebration Of A Miracle’
Former Bringing Up Bates star Whitney Bates has shared a special tribute to her baby boy, Jadon Carl. The little guy is celebrating a big milestone after a tough start to his life. As we reported, Whitney previously shared with fans that Jadon’s first birthday was right around the corner. Now, the day is finally here, and she’s going all out to celebrate.
Whitney Bates documents a ‘celebration of a miracle.’
When Jadon was first born, he was sent to the NICU and placed on life support. This was a terrifying time for the family. After spending several days in the NICU attached to all kinds of wires and tubes, he eventually went home as a healthy baby boy.
In a new Instagram post on Tuesday, June 7, Whitney Bates paid special tribute to her son, Jadon. She shared a slideshow of pictures and videos of his NICU journey and his first months.
The mom wrote:
“It seemed like every day his health got worse and he just couldn’t seem to get better. Looking through the photos of him laying there intubated, with his lung collapsed, his chest tube in, a machine breathing for him, all his wires and monitors, and seeing his tiny feeding tube and central line, brings back all those emotions and how it felt knowing that all that was left for us to do was hold his little hand and pray for a miracle from God.”
Then, Whitney Bates continued, “Today is truly a celebration of a MIRACLE for this sweet boy. For a year now he has done nothing but bring smiles and joy to our home and we cannot even imagine a life without him!”
