Would Peta Murgatroyd Return To ‘DWTS’ If Asked?
Many Dancing With The Stars fans felt pretty disappointed to learn that Peta Murgatroyd wouldn’t be part of Season 31. It was definitely exciting to see Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach take home the Mirrorball Trophy, but a lot of fans really missed Peta.
This year, Dancing With The Stars will stream on Disney+ for the first time ever. Many shakeups are happening, leading some fans to wonder if Peta might come back in the fall.

Will fans get to see Peta Murgatroyd compete on DWTS this fall?
PopCulture.com had the chance to sit down and chat with Peta about the behind-the-scenes shakeups. The dancer said she felt really surprised to hear about the network switch.
“I kind of have stepped away from that world a little bit, but yeah, I’m happy for them,” Peta told the publication. “I mean, I had no idea, so it was kind of like a shock to me and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is the first time ever that we’ve moved in all of these years.'”
Peta went on to say that she thinks the move to Disney+ will probably be good for Dancing With The Stars. She believes that things need to grow and evolve if they want to last. But would she come back if they asked her to compete in the fall?
“If they call me, I would gladly put up my hand and say, ‘You know, I want to do that,'” Peta admitted. “That’s my first love, so I would not want to give that up type of thing. So yeah, [I’d] hopefully get a good partner and go all the way.”
Pro dancers are usually the last ones to know whether they’re coming back or not. So it could be late August or early September until fans hear anything more about Peta’s involvement with DWTS Season 31.
What has the dancer been doing since fans last saw her compete?
Since Peta Murgatroyd didn’t come back for Dancing With The Stars Season 30, many fans wonder what she’s been up to these days.
Right now, Peta really enjoys spending time with her husband Maks Chmerkovskiy and their five-year-old son, Shai.
Sadly, Maks found himself trapped in Ukraine when the war broke out. He was judging the Ukrainian version of Dancing With The Stars when the Russian invasion happened.
Peta and the rest of the family were scared, but Maks finally made it back to his family safe and sound. On social media, Peta expressed her gratitude to the friends, family members, and fans who kept her going through the difficult times.
Hopefully, the worst is behind the family now and they can get back to focusing on what they really love: dance.
