Anna Duggar Flees Courtroom While Fighting Back Tears
On Wednesday, May 25, Anna Duggar attended her husband, Josh’s sentencing hearing. After her husband was sentenced, Anna quickly fled the courtroom while holding back her tears.
Anna Duggar stands by Josh’s side through it all.
Since Josh was arrested, it’s looked like his wife, Anna has been on his side. Sources close to the family claim that she believes he’s innocent. She also attended each day of his trial and entered the courthouse holding his hand.
Anna hasn’t issued a statement on her husband’s arrest or his guilty verdict. It’s unclear if she will eventually make a statement now that he’s been sentenced.
Though Anna hasn’t had much to say since her husband’s arrest or guilty verdict, she did post something on social media, stating that there’s “more to the story.”
She shared the link to the motion for a new trial, which was denied. Fans believe that Anna shared this document to try to show that her husband isn’t actually at fault or that the results of the trial weren’t true.
She once again stood by his side in court and attended his sentencing.
Because Anna Duggar has appeared to be sticking by her husband’s side, it seems like his sentencing made her pretty emotional.

After Josh was sentenced, his family members left the courtroom and went out to their cars to go back home. When they left, they were met by reporters and cameras. Anna Duggar and her father-in-law Jim Bob both rushed past the cameras in an effort to get to their cars as quickly as possible. They didn’t provide any comments to the reporters.
The Sun reports that Anna “stormed out of court” after sentencing. The outlet also notes that she had a “sullen” look on her face as she left the building.

Of course, we don’t know what emotions Anna was feeling after her husband’s sentencing. We’ll have to wait and see what happens next with Anna and the rest of the Duggar family and whether they make statements.
