Tayshia Adams Gets New Hosting Job After Losing ‘Bachelorette’ Role
Tayshia Adams shared an update on her new hosting job after losing her Bachelorette co-hosting role. What will she be hosting? Read on for all the details.
Bachelorette hosting switch
Season 19 of The Bachelorette will look very different for several reasons. The network has been touting the historical element of TWO leads looking for love among the same group of men.
Viewers first met Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia during Season 26 of The Bachelor. Neither found love with Clayton Echard, but they did form a strong friendship. Furthermore, their popularity among Bachelor Nation fans led to them both being cast as the next Bachelorette.
In addition, Bachelor host Jesse Palmer will take over for Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe as co-hosts. The two stepped into the role in 2020 after Chris Harrison’s shocking decision to leave the role.
Adams and Bristowe co-hosted Seasons 17 and 18 of The Bachelorette until the network tapped Jesse Palmer to replace Harrison as the host for the entire franchise.
In the aftermath of losing her Bachelorette gig, Tayshia Adams chose to take a step back from Bachelor Nation.
But now she is ready to make her return to television with a new hosting gig.
Tayshia Adams gets new hosting job
The former Bachelorette is switching networks, leaving ABC behind for MTV, at least temporarily. Variety reports that the Bachelor Nation alum is hosting the MTV Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted.
Fans shouldn’t confuse this with the traditional MTV Movie & TV Awards. Tayshia is hosting the reality TV, or “unscripted” portion of the award ceremony.
High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens will host the Movie & TV Awards for scripted shows.
Both segments will air on MTV.
In 2021, Tayshia Adams took home an award on the MTV Movies & TV: Unscripted ceremony. Her season of The Bachelorette nabbed Best Dating Show.
Could she appear on Bachelor In Paradise?
While Tayshia Adams initially found love on The Bachelorette, it didn’t last. She confirmed her split from Zac Clark less than a year after their engagement.
Neither Adams or Clark have been romantically linked to anyone else since they broke up. However, rumors continue to swirl among Bachelor Nation fan gossip pages that something is brewing between Tayshia and Clare Crawley’s ex-fiance, Dale Moss.
When Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss teased yet another historic announcement coming for the franchise, many assumed it could be about Tayshia. Could she hit the beach and look for love on Bachelor In Paradise?
ABC has yet to reveal which Bachelor Nation alums will appear on Season 8 of BIP.
MTV Movies & TV Awards, scripted and unscripted, air live on Sunday, June 5.
