The video shows Allie (Jaeda Lily Miller) speaking to Elizabeth. Both are seated. Allie starts with a request. “I need help with finding someone for my dad to marry.”
Shaking her head, Elizabeth blurts, “I’m sorry, whaaat?”
Allie repeats her request, “I need help with finding someone for….” She is cut off by Elizabeth.
The schoolteacher says, “You know, I heard you the first time.” Then uncomfortably asks, “Uh…did your father ask for your help finding someone?”
Allie shakes her head. “Well, no.”
Elizabeth then asks, “And do you know if he even wants to get married?
Allie replies, “Well…I thought he wanted to marry you and that would have been great but to each their own I suppose.” Elizabeth smiles at this.
Allie continues, “Then I could have sworn he was interested in Mei Sou. Now, I’m not so sure. She’s not even in town! I’m lately wondering about Dr. Carter….”
Elizabeth finally finishes this matchmaking. “Hey, all right Allie. You just need to trust me you’ll know when your dad is thinking about getting married.”
