Amy King Hopes Her Powerful Words Reach Josh & Anna Duggar’s Kids
Duggar cousin Amy King has shared an important statement on social media. She shared it in hopes of reaching Josh and Anna Duggar’s seven children. Though their oldest, Mackynzie, is just 12 years old, Amy is hopeful that her message will help the kids someday in the future.
All of this is in response to Josh Duggar’s ongoing child pornography case. It all began in the spring of 2021 when he was arrested. His trial ran from late November through early December, which is when he was found guilty. And now, he will be sentenced on May 25.
On social media, amid the family’s legal troubles, Amy King has spoken out against Josh. She has been urging Josh’s wife, Anna, to get a divorce.
Now, Amy is currently concerned about Anna, as well as her seven children. She shared a powerful statement with fans via social media, specifically expressing her concern for Josh and Anna’s kids. Scroll down to see what she had to say.
Amy King hopes to reach Josh & Anna Duggar’s children with her bold message.
On Tuesday, May 17, Amy King took to social media to share a very important post with her followers. The Duggar cousin is hoping to make an impact on Anna and her seven children. She encouraged Anna to get out of her marriage to protect herself and her children.
The reason she shared this post publicly instead of texting Anna about it is that she wants the kids to know that they have some family members on their side. Through this whole case, Anna has reportedly believed that Josh is innocent. She has continued to stay married to him and allowed the kids to see him when he was awaiting his trial.
For these reasons, Amy King is concerned that the kids will feel like their mother failed to protect them.
In her post, Amy wrote:
“Someday your kids will be old enough to understand what kind of guy their father really is. You can’t protect them from the truth for forever! I’m saying all of this publicly so that when they do grow up, they will also know that they had family members shouting from the rooftops that they were worth protecting all along. Your children look up to you so much… Please be the role model they need in their life.”
The Duggar cousin added, “And I know standing up to all of this seems impossible now, but as a Mama, your instinct to protect your kids always has to be stronger than your fear.”
Though Anna and Josh’s kids may not see this post now, Amy is hopeful it will reach them in the future so they know they aren’t alone.
