Jill & Derick Dillard snubbed by her parents?
Recently, fans have noticed that Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar haven’t been sharing much about Jill and Derick’s family.
Typically, on social media, Jim Bob and Michelle will repost their kids’ big announcements, from courtships to births. While they have recently shared about Jedidiah and Katey’s firstborn child and John-David and Abbie’s second baby on the way, they have ignored a few big things for Jill and Derick.
In February, Jill and Derick announced they are expecting their third child. Shortly after, they shared that the baby is a boy.
The couple also recently announced that they are moving soon because Derick accepted a new job. While all of these announcements have been public, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have failed to mention them.
It’s possible that this has all been a coincidence, however. Fans have wondered if maybe Jim Bob and Michelle forgot to share these announcements with fans. Or maybe they just weren’t on social media that day.
But now, things have finally changed, it seems.
Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar finally break their silence.
After seemingly ignoring many of Jill and Derick’s recent social media posts, Jim Bob and Michelle have finally said something. On their Instagram stories last week, they decided to share a rare post about Jill and Derick’s family.
They reposted Jill’s Instagram post about Derick’s recent accomplishment. Last week, Jill and Derick revealed to fans that he had been sworn into the Arkansas Supreme Court as an attorney.
While sharing Jill’s post, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar (or whoever runs their Instagram page) added a “Congrats!” sticker.
It’s unclear why the Duggar parents decided to share this post and skip over the baby announcement, gender reveal, and moving news. We’ll have to see if they continue to share Jill and Derick’s family updates moving forward.
