Why Are ‘90 Day Fiance’ Fans Stalking Jesse Meester?

YouTube

90 Day Fiance star Jesse Meester has never been a fan favorite. He has some narcissistic tendencies yet he keeps popping up on spinoffs. Despite all the viewer disdain, his social media presence keeps growing but why?

Meeting The 90 Day Fiance Boy Toy

90 Day fans first got to know Jesse when he appeared in Season 1 of the spinoff Before the 90 Days. He and Darcey Silva were engaged in a long-distance love affair. So, she traveled from Connecticut to Amsterdam to meet her twenty-something love. The fact that she was a single mother in her forties did not bother him at all. What the fitness buff did take issue with was her obsession with makeup and her looks. He also did not like when she would have a few glasses of wine. She was also obsessed with him proposing the moment that she arrived and would not let it go. It was a horrible match but they tried to make it work into Season 2 when he flew to America to stay with her. By the end, it was over.

He did pop back in to haunt Darcey but did eventually move on to the second season of The Single Life. By then, he was a world traveler who would spend a year in different countries. He was building his brand and had started communicating with Jeniffer Tarazona, also from the TLC franchise. Eventually, he made his way to Colombia to see if they were compatible. Fans found him just as insufferable in the series. He even made an appearance on the Season 3 tell-all of Darcey and Stacey to confront his ex and ultimately apologize. So, how has he stuck around so long being so infuriating?

Maintaining Relevance

Though viewers have grown tired of his antics, Jesse Meester is smart about one aspect of his life- his social media presence. Along with Jeniffer Tarazona, the two have created quite a brand for themselves. According to Screen Rant, fans cannot stop looking at his Instagram account. He has singlehandedly created his own brand and it is constantly evolving. Most recently, he launched his own currency, $JESSE, and is consistently posting photos of his travels. Jesse also documents his life with Jeniffer and even shared that the two were expecting. However, there have been no updates on that since and many questioned if it was an ill-timed April Fool’s joke.

Fans can also get coaching through Jesse as well as jewelry, a book on intermittent fasting, and more. There is also a Jesse calendar for those who wish to spend the whole year staring at him. Basically, lobe him or hate him, it is fascinating to see what new venture he has up his sleeve. Nobody believes in Jesse more than Jesse or so it seems.
