What was this trial about?
As those who have been following stories related to this legal issue, the trial of Blac Chyna versus Rob Kardashian and the entire Kardashian-Jenner family lasted for two weeks before reaching a verdict. The trial finally landed before a judge and jury just short of five years after Blac Chyna first filed her $100 million lawsuit.
Within the lawsuit, Blac Chyna claimed the family conspired against her to have the series, Rob & Chyna canceled after just a single season aired. Chyna aired this was revenge on the family’s part because she left Rob.
Blac Chyna Trial: Closing arguments
The Kardashian-Jenner attorney, Michael Rhodes, urged the jurors to reflect on the pain that washed over Rob Kardashian’s face as he took the stand. The attorney proceeded to argue that Blac Chyna damaged her own brand. Now, she was trying to punish Rob and his family for her own mistakes.
Blac Chyna’s attorney encouraged the jury to try and forget about the fact that the Kardashian-Jenner family is famous. This attorney wanted the jury to really focus on Rob’s testimony. The attorney tried to poke holes in Rob’s testimony noting that even Kardashian himself said he had no marks on him after Chyna allegedly stranged him and bashed him with a metal pole. Black Chyna’s attorney insisted these false claims were the downfall of Rob & Chyna. Furthermore, the attorney argued that getting Blac Chyna’s show canceled just made room for Kylie’s TV show instead.

During a cross-examination, Adam Stotsky, a former NBC executive, stated that the Kardashian family had nothing to do with the future of any shows on the network. The former executive went on to point out that Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna were no longer a couple. So, the network couldn’t exactly move forward with a series called Rob & Chyna.
