WWE NXT: 3 Must-See Moments
Breakker’s breakdown
In recent weeks, Joe Gacy has been threatening Bron Breakker, using the champion’s dad Rick Steiner as bait. At the end of the show, Breakker finally met Gacy face to face and offered a proposition. Gacy offered Breakker his father’s Hall of Fame ring in exchange for a shot at the NXT Championship. Breakker agreed, however, Gacy responded by pushing Breakker off the stage and onto the floor. Breakker vs Gacy for the NXT Championship will main event ‘Spring Breakin’ in two weeks.
GYV out?
Pretty Deadly won a gauntlet match last week to win the vacant NXT Tag Team Titles. In response, the Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake) returned to WWE NXT and questioned why they were left out of the match. Legado del Fantasma appeared and called out GYV which led to a match between both teams. After LDF got the win, GYV were interviewed in the locker room and were clearly defeated men. A tweet by Drake and Gibson later in the night signaled their potential exit from the company.
Childhood Nightmare
Cora Jade’s warning
Earlier this month, Cora Jade was interviewed in the middle of the ring after performing well at ‘Stand & Deliver.’ Jade spoke about being inspired by Natalya, who was her favorite wrestler growing up. Natalya appeared and seemed friendly at first, however, it was quickly turned into a beatdown. After Natalya got a win over Tatum Paxley, Jade was highlighted in a segment backstage. Jade says she once saw Natalya as a dream match, but now that dream is to kick Nattieās legendary ass. Jade rips up a picture of them and steps on Natalya’s face before walking off.
