‘Sister Wives’: Meri Brown Gives Update As Fire Ravages Arizona
It’s definitely wildfire season in certain parts of the United States. Unfortunately, families in the western part of the country are grappling with the effects and the possibility of losing their homes. So how are the Sister Wives stars holding up in Arizona? Meri Brown recently issued an update to give to her social media followers.
Keep in mind that this is an ongoing situation, so make sure to follow us online. We may have another update about the Brown family in the near future.
Meri Brown shares updates with fans on the ongoing wildfire situation
As we previously noted, Flagstaff, Arizona is struggling with wildfire damage at the moment. The Brown family relocated to the area and 2018 and planned to start building on their land in Coyote Pass. But will the wildfires make that impossible?
The Sun reports that Kody, Robyn, and Meri Brown all live uncomfortably close to the Tunnel Fire. It’s been a very difficult time for the family — and their fans who continue to pray for the family’s safety.
Meri recently posted an update on her Instagram page.
“Many are asking, I am a safe distance from the wildfires currently happening near Flagstaff,” the TLC star wrote. “Please pray for those who are being impacted, and for all those fighting this!”
Although Meri Brown and the rest of the family aren’t out of the woods yet, it really seems like they’re all safe for now. Family, friends, and fans continue to pray for the Sister Wives clan and that the wildfires don’t spread.

The TLC star plans to stay put as long as she can
It’s no secret that Meri Brown may be a little disconnected from the rest of the family. But she’s definitely not going anywhere anytime soon. We previously wrote that reports say Meri Brown only meets up with Kody to film, but she’s also not going to leave him.
“Meri does live separately from everyone. She’s never with them,” a family friend told InTouch Weekly. “She’s only with them to film. Her whole focus is on her career with LuLa Roe which she’s very successful at, and her daughter.”
Her house is indeed separate from Kody’s, but it’s close enough that both residences are near the wildfires. According to the Brown family’s religious beliefs, a man needs at least three wives to have his own domain in the afterlife. Kody Brown is down to three, so it’d be pretty bad if Meri left right now. But we’ll just need to keep monitoring the Sister Wives crew to see what happens next.
