Witness List For Blac Chyna Trial Includes Longtime Friend Ryan Seacrest

The Black Chyna trial kicked off this week. So far, the model has struggled to keep up with the Kardashians. The witness list is out and it includes their longtime friend Ryan Seacrest. As fans already know, he was responsible for the popularity of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

He could be one of the many people who testify in the ongoing trial against the family. Chyna filed a lawsuit against Kris Jenner and her daughters Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner. She claims the family is responsible for the cancellation of the KUWTK spinoff series, Rob & Chyna. She also claims that she suffered financial loss after the cancelation.

Will Ryan Seacrest have to testify?

Blac Chyna and the Kardashian-Jenner clan headed to court this week. On Monday, April 18, Kris Jenner and her daughters Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner were present in court this week. However, Chyna’s ex-boyfriend, Rob Kardashian, wasn’t present at the start of the trial. It’s unclear why he wasn’t there in the beginning.

Chyna has been questioned about everything about their relationship and breakup. She got testy and asked the Kardashian lawyer, Michael Rhodes, to make Rob testify about their text messages. Blac Chyna admitted that she didn’t keep the text messages they exchanged at the time of their split. But Rob may not be the only one to testify in the ongoing trial.

Many other people, including Ryan Seacrest, could take the stand. Per People, the witness list includes the likes of Seacrest, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and Kylie Jenner. Seacrest was the executive producer for KUWTK and Rob & Chyna.

Earlier this month, People obtained the court documents that included the witness list. Seacrest was named on the long list. The American Idol host “is expected to provide live testimony and will be called during Plaintiff’s case-in-chief.” While his name was on the witness list, he may not have to testify, an insider told People.

Other witnesses for the Blac Chyna trial

The other names for the Blac Chyna trial include Kris Jenner and her boyfriend, Corey Gamble, her daughters Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner. Their legal team submitted a request preventing Blac Chyna and her team from “referring to, commenting on, or presenting evidence or testimony pertaining to any of [the family]’s wealth or financial condition.”

The exception to this would be if “the jury returns a verdict for Plaintiff awarding actual damages and finds that any of the Defendants are guilty of malice, oppression, or fraud.”

Blac Chyna didn’t just file a lawsuit against the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Her 2017 lawsuit was originally against Rob only. She claims to have suffered “significant damages” after he leaked her nude photos on social media. Chyna also claims that the family influenced the decision in Rob & Chyna’s cancellation, which led to her alleged financial problems.

Chyna and Rob have dealt with legal battles since 2017. They were in a custody battle that they reached an agreement on.
