‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ Ashley & Gabriela’s Feud Rages On

Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew members Ashley Marti and Gabriela Barragan feuded for much of the season. They can’t agree on anything, especially when it comes to their positions. Ashley has been trying to get Gabriela’s job since the beginning. She feels she should get promoted to second stew.

However, fans are confused by Ashley’s job. They don’t understand what she does since she complains most of the time. The midseason showed Ashley and Gabriela feuding over first mate Gary King. Meanwhile, chief stew Daisy Kelliher has no idea what’s going on with her interior team.

Ashley and Gabriela can’t stop feuding

The stews instigated the drama on Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3. Even Daisy Kelliher is over the constant fighting between them. As the role of the chief stew, she has to focus on the charter guests and their needs. She also has to oversee the second and third stews.

But Ashley and Gabriela could never agree about their job. Daisy had a much stronger interior team during Season 2 of Below Deck Sailing. She worked as the chief stew to Dani Soares and Alli Dore. The two got along with each other and with Daisy.

This season has played out differently. Ashley and Gabriela can’t see eye-to-eye on anything. While both Ashley and Gabriela possess experience working on yachts, it didn’t show through their work. Ashley appeared inexperienced with her job.

Some fans thought she came across as lazy. Gabriela has been messing up with her job, as seen in the latest episode. As Below Deck Sailing Yacht continues, the two stews keep arguing with each other for various reasons. Daisy was shocked to learn that Gabriela wanted to quit.

Ashley was the one who brought it up to her. She broke Gabriela’s promise by not keeping it to herself. Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans called her out for snitching on Gabriela. They’ve already chosen sides, and most of them have sided with Gabriela throughout this feud.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht — Why they can’t get along

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht stews just can’t get along. Ashley has made everything a competition, including their positions. Ashley revealed in her confessional that she doesn’t like to lose to anything. She also doesn’t like being told what to do and grew annoyed with Gabriela’s requests.

Gabriela was frustrated with Ashley’s lack of respect for her position. On top of that, Gabriela kissed Gary. Ashley had her eye on Gary since the start of the season, but he didn’t want to rush things with her. Gary kissed almost every woman on board, including Daisy during their drunken moment in the hot tub.

Gabriela and Gary made out as well. She even ended up snuggling in his bed a few times. But as the charter season went on, Gabriela felt the pressure to stay on top of her game. She continued to have conflicts with her crew members, including Chef Marcos Spaziani. Rumors are swirling that Gabriela will quit Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3.
