Carlin Bates Shares Baby Zade’s Medical Procedure
Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates shared a big update with fans about her son, Zade Patrick. Unfortunately, the three-week-old baby boy needed a medical procedure this week. Carlin took a moment to explain the situation to fans via social media so they would know what was going on with her newborn son.
In case you missed the news, Carlin and her husband, Evan Stewart, welcomed their second child to the world last month. They named him Zade Patrick, and he joined his big sister, Layla Rae.
Fortunately, everything went smoothly with Zade’s birth, and the family left the hospital a couple of days later. But now, Carlin Bates revealed that her little guy needed a procedure.
Carlin Bates gives fans a full rundown on Baby Zade’s medical procedure.
On Monday, April 18, Carlin hopped on her Instagram stories to let fans know that her newborn son, Zade, needed a procedure. The mom said, “Some of y’all noticed Zade’s little tongue tie. We’re actually headed to the appointment today to get that fixed.”
She said that Layla had hers clipped at an oral surgeon as an infant. But this was a hard experience for the new mom. So, one of Carlin’s sisters recommended getting it lasered for a smoother process. So, that’s what they did with Zade.
She posted a photo of Zade at the appointment, as you can see below.
After the appointment, Carlin Bates got back on Instagram to give everyone an update. She explained that many fans recommended laser over the clip Layla had done. She said, “I’m so glad that we went with that route. It seems so smooth, less bleeding, less swelling. He was a champ.”
Then, Carlin said that the baby boy is doing well now and the whole process went smoothly. They will need to do his tongue exercises for a little while. She also added that the doctor had to laser both his tongue tie and lip tie. This was the case for Layla, too, so it’s not a big deal for Carlin.
So, fans can rest assured that Baby Zade is doing well and his procedure was very minor.
