Why Kaitlyn Bristowe Thought She Should Walk Away From Jason Tartick
Currently, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick can’t wait to get married and start a family. However, there was one point in the early stages of their relationship when she thought it would be best to just walk away. Keep reading to find out why Kaitlyn considered leaving Jason early on.
Why Kaitlyn Bristowe almost left Jason Tartick
It wasn’t too long ago that Kaitlyn and Jason revealed that stuff they discussed on her Off The Vine podcast basically cost him his job. The now-deleted podcast featured Kaitlyn and Jason talking about their first hookup. She said she was on her period so their first go at intimacy was with them fully clothed.
The news of the podcast got back to the bank Jason was employed at. They gave him an ultimatum. He either had to agree to no more podcasts, social media, etc. or he could “restart” himself outside of the bank. So, Jason left his job.
Jason said, “We get this call and they were like, ‘They’re expecting you to come in and resign today.'” He continued, “I was like, ‘I’m not going to resign, so I guess you guys have a choice.’ The next conversation was, ‘No, you don’t have to resign. We just want you to restart here with a new set of rules, no podcasts, no social media…’ — essentially no outside business work — ‘or go restart yourself.'”
People shared how this incident came into play with Kaitlyn almost leaving Jason. Kaitlyn says she wasn’t sure he would still want her around since she had basically just cost him the job he’d worked at for a decade. She said, “I was like, your family’s going to hate me. This is not going to work out for us. I should probably just walk away now.”

Jason and Bachelor in Paradise
Jason had the opportunity to go on BIP. However, he turned it down. His employer once again came into play. They told him if he pursued the show again they were done with him. Plus, he realizes that he really only wanted to go to Paradise so he could be on television again. So, he declined the chance to go.
Kaitlyn thinks this was a good decision because if he had gone to the beach she doesn’t believe they would have started dating.
Now, the two are happy, engaged and ready to start a family.
