Hannah Ferrier Had A Major Hand In ‘Below Deck Down Under,’ Here’s How
Hannah Ferrier played an important role in Below Deck Down Under. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, she inspired Captain Jason Chambers to join the spinoff series. She also worked behind the scenes on the show. While Hannah’s time on Season 5 of Below Deck Med abruptly came to an end, she’s still a part of the yachting industry.
The former chief stew launched the Ocean International Training Academy. She works with experts who have been in the industry for decades and provides students with the skills they need to achieve success in the yachting industry. Hannah is also good friends with past and present cast members of the Below Deck family.
Captain Jason Chambers credits Hannah Ferrier for joining the show
In an interview with E! News, Jason credited Hannah Ferrier as the reason why he said yes to Below Deck Down Under. The newlywed inspired him to join the series. The two knew each other for years since they both worked in the Australian yachting industry. When he was first approached about the Peacock original, he spoke with Hannah about it.
“It’s kind of funny because a lot of people would think with how things ended on the show that I would be like, ‘Don’t do it!'” Hannah Ferrier joked.
Though she had a negative experience in the last season of Below Deck Mediterranean, she put her personal feelings aside. Hannah convinced Jason to join the show. It was a perfect fit for him since he’s the dad to a little girl. There’s greater flexibility with doing the show than there is with working in the traditional yachting industry.
Hannah Ferrier cemented her legacy in the Below Deck world. She has been influential to others who still work in the industry. For instance, she’s still good friends with Aesha Scott, who’s also on Below Deck Down Under. Aesha previously worked with Hannah as a second stew but got promoted to the role of chief stew.
Hannah Ferrier is still influential in the yachting industry
Aesha found out that she will be appearing on Below Deck Down Under with Captain Jason. Hannah Ferrier shared some inspirational words with her friend. The two ladies spent hours on the phone together. Hannah guided Aesha in her first role as a chief stew in the new series.
“Obviously, as a chief, you’ve got a lot of things that make your life easier like schedules and provisioning lists and what you need to set up a boat and all of that, so I spent a lot of time kind of compiling all those documentations into a file for her so that her job was going to be as easy as possible,” Hannah Ferrier explained.
She went above and beyond for her fellow yachtie. Hannah’s main focus was for Aesha to “succeed” during her first charter season. She said she doesn’t feel “jealous” of her friend. Rather, she feels a need to help her out.
It’s good that she’s still friends with most of the Below Deck family. Do you agree that Hannah Ferrier still has a big presence on the franchise, even though she’s no longer on the show? If. Hannah is friends with Ayesha she should teach her to be a chief stew
She does not check their work
She its a terrible chief stew
The laundry room is really bad looking too
I am happy that Hannah Involved. She could easily be a line producer and authenticates the industry and the show. She doesn’t have to be on the show to be a creative force on the show.
I love Hannah she may not be perfect but who is? Sandy was way to quick on the trigger in firing her and it hurt everyone involved good luck Hannah
