In this LMN movie, Dangerous Methods stars Rachele Brooke Smith (Class Act, Project: Phoenix),  Christopher Showerman (The Picture of Daria Gray, The Time War), Nicky Whelan (The Girl In The Window, Dear Christmas), and Costas Mandylor (Paper Empire, The Last Ship). 

Gabriel Moura (Breaking Bread), Humberto Rosa (DarkTales, Invoked), and Gerson Sanginitto (Area Q., The TV Broke) wrote the script. Humberto Rosa (Don’t Look Back, City Of Hate) is the director.

What is Lifetime’s Dangerous Methods About?

According to the Lifetime synopsis,  an ambitious Hollywood assistant takes a job that she believes will move her career forward. This incredible opportunity is to help a famous Hollywood actor who is known for his over-the-top Method acting philosophy. 

Moreover, she agrees to go to an isolated mountain cabin, where he is going to prepare for this role.

However, she finds herself in a hellish, life-or-death situation. How far will this overbearing Method actor go to prepare for his next role?

Star Out Weekend Early With LMN’s Danger In The Spotlight

Lifetime continues their danger-themed movies with Danger In The Spotlight. This will be broadcast just before Dangerous Methods at 6 p.m., Eastern, on LMN. Danger In The Spotlight stars Jessica Morris (Party Of Five, Perception), Anna Marie Dobbins (Deadly Mile High Club, Women), and Trey McCurley (The Amityville Moon, Unwritten Obsession).

According to the Lifetime synopsis, after struggling with sobriety, Martha (Morris) has been turning her life around to gain shared custody of her daughter. However, the night before the custody hearing, Martha wakes up from a car crash with alcohol on her breath. She is afraid and flees the scene. She doesn’t want to lose her child forever.

Moreover, Martha knows she hadn’t been drinking. Therefore, she’s unsure how she ended up in an accident. Feeling guilty, Martha tracks down Daphne (Dobbins), the other driver she hurt in the accident. Martha wants to rectify the situation. Her solution is to be Daphne’s caretaker.

But as Martha spends more time with Daphne and her husband, Henry (McCurley), she begins to wonder if the car accident wasn’t an accident!

Cap Off Evening With Lifetime’s Deadly Ex Next Door

Enjoying an evening of Lifetime thrillers? Why not hang around for just one more? LMN is airing Deadly Ex Next Door right after Dangerous Methods, at 10 p.m., Eastern. This hair-raiser stars Tianna Nori (A Cheerful Christmas, Slaxx), Jack Grinhaus (Beware Of The Midwife, Moonshine), Jean-Paul Najm (Love Triangle Nightmare, Helstrom), and Brendee Serena Green (Rookie Blue, Meet Cute).

According to the Lifetime synopsis, Elise (Nori) and her husband Allan (Grinhaus) are thrilled to be new homeowners of a cabin overlooking a lake. That is, until Elise’s former friend, Geena (Green), and her husband, Lee (Najm), move in next door.

Years ago, Geena stole Lee from Elise, bringing their friendship to an end. Now, Geena wants to apologize for hurting Elise, and Elise reluctantly forgives her. However, when Elise is attacked by a mysterious figure in the woods and accused of having an affair with Lee, she begins questioning Geena’s motives.

Moreover, the tension between the two couples culminates in Geena being murdered, seemingly at the hands of Allan. It’s not long, though, before Elise realizes someone else is behind all the mysterious things happening to her. Therefore, Elise must now fight for her life if she ever hopes to clear Allan’s name of a crime he didn’t commit.
