Monday Night Raw set the stage for the Road to Wrestlemania which is less than two weeks away. Kevin Owens mocked Steve Austin ahead of their showdown on the KO Show. Randy Orton and Riddle took on the Alpha Academy but got more than they bargained for. The Miz crossed the line with the Mysterios and Seth Rollins cracked. Kevin Owens mocks Stone Cold
Monday Night Raw kicked off with the glass-shattering music of Stone Cold Steve Austin. As the Chicago crowd came unglued, it was revealed to be all a ruse by Kevin Owens. Owens came to the ring mocking Steve Austin dressing in his gear complete with a bald cap. KO poked fun at the WWE Hall of Famer, claiming he was past his prime and too old to hang with someone like him. Owens closed the segment with a warning to Austin before hitting a stunner on a stagehand.
The Miz takes a trophy
The Miz will be teaming with Logan Paul to take on Rey and Dominik Mysterio at Wrestlemania. In recent weeks, both sides have been taking shots at each other, but The Miz might have gone too far during WWE Raw. After the Mysterio’s defeated Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, The Miz rushed into the ring. The A-Lister hit the Skull Crushing Finale on Rey before removing his cherished mask.
Seth ‘Friggen’ Rollins’ last straw
Seth Rollins freak out
The Road to Wrestlemania for Seth Rollins has been the most uncertain of any WWE superstar. After losing a shot at the tag team titles and then being defeated by Kevin Ownes in singles action, Rollins was left dumbfounded. During WWE Raw, Rollins had one more chance at Wrestlemania glory if he was able to defeat A.J. Styles in the main event. After a 20+ minute match, Edge rushed to the ring and hit Styles with a chair, causing a DQ in the process. With Styles getting the win, Rollins was once again left with no plans for the big show. After the match, Rollins announced that his situation was “bullsh*t,” before ripping apart the WWE Raw set at ringside.
