Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss addresses Bachelor in Paradise rumors
TheBachBabes helped Bachelor Nation get clarification on some rumors floating around regarding Bachelor in Paradise. They went to Twitter to share a gif and say, “My reaction to the rumors that Paradise might be cancelled. That’s the only damn reason I put up with this franchise.”
Franchise creator Mike Fleiss retweeted their post with his own reaction to the rumors. He said, “Canceled??? No f*cking way!!! #BachelorInParadise forever!”
Most fans began almost instantly commenting saying they were relieved. Some shared how BIP is their favorite part of The Bachelor franchise. However, there are some fans who are skeptical of Fleiss’ tweets.
One fan said, “Same guy that said Clayton would reunite bachelor nation. Excuse me if I don’t think you are a credible source.”
What started the rumors?
There are a few different reasons the rumors have been circulating that Bachelor in Paradise could be canceled. One is that Reality Steve said Season 7 from 2021 didn’t get very good ratings. He noted he would not be surprised if the franchise did away with the popular spinoff.
The next big question mark in regards to the rumors is The Bachelorette schedule. Normally The Bachelorette starts airing in May. Then, Bachelor in Paradise begins airing in August. Since this new season of The Bachelorette will not premiere until July 11, many fans began to panic that BIP could be history.
Until Mike Fleiss replied to this tweet nobody had a clue and many still wonder if he’s being upfront with them.
So far ABC has yet to officially announce the BIP return.
Rumored cast members
Of course, there are already rumors also flying around about who could end up on the Mexico beaches looking for love. One name that many hear and are not quite liking is Shanae from Clayton’s season.
Clayton Echard himself has predicted that Serene and Teddi will both be in Paradise and also be the two most popular girls on the beach.
Other predicted cast members are Rodney Matthews, Rick Leach, and Brandon Jones. All these men are from Michelle Young’s season.
If the season is not canceled, who do you want to see on the beach looking for love?
