Storage Wars Stars Rene & Casey Nezhoda Show Off Flo-Jo Stash
Just a couple of weeks ago, Storage Wars stars Rene & Casey Nezhoda shared their Olympic level stash. According to a post on their YouTube Channel, they had purchased a storage locker of Olympic proportions.
Back in 2014, Rene’s friend George picked up the storage locker in San Diego. The Nezhodas purchased the treasure and shared information on the contents inside.
Inside were several pairs of athletics shoes, photographs, autographed Barbie Dolls, and an Olympic jacket.
It did not take the Nezhodas very long to make a sale!
Storage Wars Star Meets With Flo-Jo’s Husband
What happened with Flo-Jo’s Olympic items? Did the Storage Wars stars sell them for a huge profit? According to TMZ, Rene Nezhoda met Florence Griffith Joyner’s husband, Al Joyner.
According to Rene, Al heard about the Nezhoda’s find. They met in San Diego and made a deal. Although Rene admits he would have made more money by putting the items up for auction, he was happy that the items are now in the family’s hands.

Flo-Jo’s Husband’s Most Valued Treasure
As we know from the Storage Wars star’s video, there were quite a few Flo-Jo treasures from the storage units. However, there was one item that Al Joyner treasured most. This was the Olympian’s weight belt.
It turns out that the couple had both used the weight belt when they worked out. Turns out, this workout belt was “going in the trash.” Instead, Al now has this item to forever remember his late wife by.
How Did Lockers Wind Up Going To Auction?
What do we know about the contents of the locker? Turns out, Al Joyner had gone through both storage units that held his late wife’s belongings. Then, the two lockers were available for auction.
There was no explanation as to why they didn’t remove all of the items from the lockers themselves. This task was likely too daunting. That is why Storage Wars stars Casey and Rene Nezhoda are so successful. They have a system to sell any item they find in an abandoned storage unit.
However, Joyner thought he picked up all of the treasures. But, there were a few items that he missed. When he heard about Rene uncovering these Flo-Jo items, he knew that he had to buy them from the Nezhodas.
Although this locker will not be in any upcoming episodes, there are plenty of treasures and unique items in the abandoned storage lockers in Storage Wars Season 14.
New episodes air every Tuesday, at 9 p.m., Eastern, on A&E.
