Audrey is particularly active on Instagram.

The couple welcomed their third child in November of 2021. Radley joined older siblings Bode, 2, and Ember, 4. Four months after having the baby, Audrey shared details of the delivery.

In fact, some people think she’s been oversharing the birth story details, including that she didn’t give birth in a hospital this time.

Her birth story made people question if she is a believer in modern medicine. She says she is, but she found a way to offend her followers once more. What did she say?

Audrey Roloff offends again

Despite sharing many details about the birthing experience, fans still had questions. Audrey Roloff opened up her Instagram DMs to questions from followers.

Many were wondering the difference between hospitals and birthing centers. One follower in particular asked if the centers take insurance.

The reality star confirmed they did, but what she said next didn’t go over well. Roloff wrote that unlike hospitals, birthing centers don’t “hold you hostage for 24 hours.”

People took to Reddit to share their reaction to her shady comment.

One person wrote, “The maternity ward is definitely not a hostage situation… the mental ward on the other hand is definitely much closer to one.”

Another sarcastically chimed in, “Hold you hostage by ensuring you’re safe to go home and recuperate?!?”

While many found her comments offensive, some people agreed that birthing centers are better than hospitals.

“I do know people in my life too who’ve been massively mistreated by hospital staff post birth and weren’t being discharged for nonsense reasons – it really is traumatic to feel like you don’t have rights to your body or healthy baby,” one person shared.
