Jason Tartick: Kaitlyn Bristowe Should Have Hosted ‘WTA,’ Here’s Why
Jason Tartick thinks his fiance Kaitlyn Bristowe should have hosted the WTA special episode of The Bachelor. Keep reading to find out why.
Bachelor Nation couple planning 2022 wedding?
After two years of dating, Jason Tartick popped the question to Kaitlyn Bristowe in May of 2021. The couple met during an episode of Kaitlyn’s Off the Vine podcast. Tartick was a former suitor on Season 14 of The Bachelorette, ending the season as the third runner-up for Becca Kufrin’s heart.
Kaitlyn Bristowe was the lead on Season 11 of the ABC dating competition. She was engaged to Shawn Booth for three years before they ended their relationship.
Jason and Kaitlyn have been mum about their wedding plans lately, but that’s likely due to their busy schedule. Bristowe is currently touring with the Dancing With The Stars live troupe. Tartick is amping up for the launch of his first book.
However, they’ve previously said that they are looking at a late 2022 wedding in Nashville, Tennessee.
Jason Tartick thinks Kaitlyn Bristowe should have hosted WTA – Why?
The former Bachelorette recently got vulnerable with fans, sharing what her depression looks like. The reality star is open about how much she misses being home, though it seems she always has her fiance in her corner.
With Bristowe on the road, Tartick took to social media to live-react to the Women Tell All special featuring Clayton Echard’s cast-off contestants.
There was a lot of drama during Season 26 of The Bachelor among the women and they brought that drama to the stage on WTA.
It was the first tell-all special hosted by Jesse Palmer. The Season 5 Bachelor returned to the franchise to step into the hosting shoes vacated by Chris Harrison. The long-time host of the franchise left in 2021.
For Season 17 and 18 of The Bachelorette, the network brought in Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams as temporary co-hosts.
In Jason Tartick’s opinion, the network should have kept his fiance as host of the show. Why? He doesn’t think Kaitlyn would have put up with the “bullsh*t” from the ladies, according to Us Weekly.
He wrote on his Twitter that Bristowe would “check 95%” of the insults coming from the contestants. Jason was especially against the “body shaming” happening on the Women Tell All special.
Imagine a @kaitlynbristowe hosting this #WTA…feel like she’d check 95% of this bullshit! Especially the body shaming #TheBachelor

Have fans accepted Jesse Palmer as host?
ABC had an uphill battle trying to find a worthy replacement for Chris Harrison, who was beloved by fans and former stars of the show. There are some fans who will never accept anyone else as host.
However, an equal number of fans were willing to give Jesse Palmer a chance. Jason Tartick’s tweet slamming Palmer’s hosting received a mix in responses.
One of his followers replied, “I have to say that neither Jesse nor Kaitlyn and Tayshia did a good job at shutting down the insults from the eliminated contestants.”
Another comment disagreed, “I think Jesse did a great job and controlled the situation the best anyone good have.“
Several comments suggested bringing Kaitlyn Bristowe back to host The Bachelorette, while letting Jesse Palmer host The Bachelor.
The network has yet to reveal hosting plans for future seasons of the franchise. As Clayton Echard’s season comes to an end, rumors are circulating over who will be the lead for Season 19 of The Bachelorette.
